Yin Yang Swan

I was inspired by the movie ‘Black Swan’. I loved this movie seeing the personality of a good girl hiding her wicket feelings. I started to think about people’s personalities. The good and the bad ones. As I called it, the white one and black personality in all of us. The Yin and Yang is the perfect balance of the of white and black. This is reflected in my designs using basic white and black fabrics making the inspiration a little more intense.

I began sketching wonderful drawings simulating the flowing skirts like the ballerinas in the movie. The moment the collection was born, I used the contrasting fabrics of white and black fabrics, or similar paisley patterns to represent the colors.  In this collection, I tried to be as clean as possible to represent the contrasting colors on our color palette. We use black and white mixed with other colors making them totally different shades of these wonderful colors. This collection was created more as a trend on color than a trend on style.
